Lip filler

Fuller lips in proportion, without the sausage look

Lip filler — Lienjang Plastic Surgery

In short

Lip filler places a soft hyaluronic acid gel in the lips to add fullness, define the border and correct thin lips or downturned corners. Lienjang designs the shape around your existing lip and facial proportion. The session takes about 20 minutes, the result is immediate and usually lasts six to twelve months.

How it works

The doctor works in two planes: the vermillion border for definition and the body of the lip for fullness. Controlling the volume per point is what keeps the lip natural instead of uniformly swollen.

What the clinic highlights

  • Lip shape is designed to facial proportion, e.g. a roughly 1:1.6 upper-to-lower ratio.
  • Uses soft, lip-specific gels made for tissue that moves constantly.
  • Topical anaesthetic and cold compress reduce pain and swelling.

Who it suits

  • Thin lips, an unclear border or an unbalanced upper/lower ratio
  • Downturned corners that read as a frown
  • Dry, creased lips with age

Aftercare

  • Cold-compress on day one; avoid very hot or spicy food.
  • Avoid kissing, straws and massaging the lips for about a week.

FAQ

  • Can I take photos the next day?

Days one and two are the most swollen; if you have a shoot, allow at least five to seven days.

  • Does it hurt?

Lips are sensitive, but topical anaesthetic plus lidocaine already mixed into most gels makes it manageable.

  • What if I don't like the result?

HA filler can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, but wait for the swelling to settle before deciding.
